Ingredients

  • 4 slices bread
  • 1/2 lb. shrimp
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Cube the buttered bread slices.
  2. Layer bread cubes, shredded shrimp, and grated cheese in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine beaten eggs, milk, dry mustard, and salt.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients in the casserole.
  5. Sprinkle paprika on top.
  6. Refrigerate the casserole for a few hours before baking for better flavor.
  7. Bake in a 325°F oven for 50 minutes until set and golden.
