Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb cooked shrimp
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • Parmesan cheese
  • paprika
  • cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Cook mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes.
  2. Blend in flour, salt, dry mustard, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Gradually add milk; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  4. Stir in cooked shrimp.
  5. Place the mixture in a well-greased dish.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.
  7. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes or longer if cold.
  8. Serve over cooked rice.
