Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
  • 1/3 c. thinly sliced onions
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Instructions

  1. In a glass dish, layer cooked, peeled, and deveined shrimp with thinly sliced onions.
  2. Blend together sugar, salt, Worcestershire sauce, catsup, cider vinegar, vegetable oil, cayenne pepper, and dry mustard until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the shrimp and onions.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for several hours or overnight to marinate.
  5. Drain the shrimp before serving and arrange on a plate.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh chives and serve with toothpicks.
