- Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Prick the unbaked pie shell and bake for 8 minutes.
- Saute the minced onion and diced green pepper until tender.
- Layer half of the cheese, peeled tomatoes, sautéed onion and green pepper mixture, and sliced salami into the baked pie shell.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl; stir in the milk, onion powder, parsley, oregano, and garlic powder.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients in the pie shell.
- Bake at 450°F (230°C) for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes until set.
