Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna fish
  • 1/2 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
  • 1/4 cup snipped parsley
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 oz. linguine

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp.
  2. Drain bacon, reserving 1/4 cup drippings in the skillet.
  3. Set bacon aside.
  4. Cook green onion and garlic in drippings until tender but not brown.
  5. Stir in butter until melted.
  6. Drain cans of minced clams and tuna.
  7. Break tuna into chunks and add to the skillet along with bacon, sliced olives, parsley, and pepper.
  8. Heat the mixture until hot and serve.
