Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 5 c. water
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 16 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Chop the onions.
  2. Put the hamburger and water in a large pot, then add all the remaining ingredients at once.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3 hours.
  4. Serve the chili over cooked spaghetti.
  5. Top with Cheddar cheese and oyster crackers.
