Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 c. ketchup
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • Hot pepper sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet and drain off excess fat.
  2. Combine beef, chopped celery, chopped green pepper, ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, salt (if using), and hot pepper sauce in the skillet.
  3. Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, then serve on buns.
