Ingredients

  • 15 1/2 oz. can salmon, drained
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. grated onion
  • 2 tsp. horseradish
  • 1/4 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 drops Tabasco sauce
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • assorted crackers

Instructions

  1. Combine the drained salmon, lemon juice, grated onion, horseradish, liquid smoke, salt, and Tabasco sauce in a bowl.
  2. Mix well with the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Chill the mixture for several hours to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Meanwhile, combine chopped pecans and minced parsley.
  5. Shape the chilled salmon mixture into a ball or mold.
  6. Cover the entire surface of the shaped salmon with the pecan and parsley mixture.
  7. Chill again before serving.
  8. Serve with assorted crackers.
