Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Crisco oil
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine and sugar together.
  2. Add eggs; mix well.
  3. Add oil; mix.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of sugar with cinnamon.
  7. Form dough into 1 teaspoon-sized balls.
  8. Roll each ball in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  10. Bake at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
