Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheese
  • 8 oz. spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Lightly brown ground beef, chopped onion, and green pepper in shortening; stir occasionally.
  2. Add one can each of cream of mushroom and tomato soups, one soup can water, and minced garlic; heat through.
  3. Mix with cooked and drained spaghetti and half of the shredded sharp cheese in a 3-quart casserole dish.
  4. Top with the remaining shredded sharp cheese.
  5. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes or until bubbly.
