Tallarina is a hearty casserole combining tender noodles, seasoned ground beef, vegetables, and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners and comfort food enthusiasts.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. wide noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1 can corn
  • 1/3 cup chopped ripe olives
  • Grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles in water until done.
  2. Saute ground beef, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, and salt in a skillet for a few minutes.
  3. Add tomato soup and corn to the beef mixture.
  4. Layer the cooked noodles and beef mixture in a casserole dish alternately.
  5. Sprinkle chopped ripe olives over the layers.
  6. Cover with grated cheese.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven for 45 minutes.
  8. Serve hot.
