Ingredients

  • 7 oz. package Creamettes spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup skim milk
  • 1 egg
  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare spaghetti as package directs; drain.
  2. In a medium bowl, blend milk and beaten egg.
  3. Add cooked spaghetti; toss to coat.
  4. Spray a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan with vegetable cooking spray.
  5. Spread spaghetti mixture evenly in prepared pan.
  6. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, and minced garlic until beef is no longer pink; drain.
  7. Add tomato sauce and seasonings; simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Spoon meat mixture over spaghetti evenly.
  9. Top with sliced mushrooms and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  10. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes.
  11. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
