Ingredients

  • 3/4 to 1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 can chili
  • 1 cup shredded Jack cheese
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. banana or wax pepper, minced

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot or skillet.
  2. Heat thoroughly over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve hot with tortillas, chips, or your preferred toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cheese, olives, salsa, or sour cream.
