Ingredients

  • 4 lb. pork spareribs
  • 1 envelope onion soup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. sherry or white wine
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped and minced
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients for the marinade in a bowl.
  2. Pre-cook the ribs by boiling them for 15 minutes to speed up cooking.
  3. Pour the marinade into a gallon Ziploc bag and add the ribs.
  4. Turn the bag a few times to coat the ribs evenly.
  5. Marinate the ribs overnight for best flavor.
  6. Grill the ribs on low for about an hour, basting often.
