Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (6 or 8 oz) can mushrooms, drained
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 2 packages frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Combine the chopped onion, garlic, ground beef, drained mushrooms, salt, pepper, and oregano in a skillet.
  2. Cook until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the frozen chopped spinach, cover, and cook until thawed.
  4. Stir in the celery soup and sour cream, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a buttered casserole dish.
  6. Arrange sliced mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
