Instructions
- Cook cauliflower, carrots, potatoes, peas, and onions in salted water until tender.
- Drain the vegetables and place them in a baking dish.
- Make a sauce by melting butter, then stirring in flour and milk, cooking until thickened.
- Add grated cheese to the sauce and stir until melted.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the cooked vegetables in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle soft bread crumbs over the top of the casserole.
- Dot with 2 tablespoons of butter and garnish with parsley.
- Bake until the top is golden and bubbly.
