Ingredients

  • 1 lb. steak
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can chicken soup with rice

Instructions

  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix flour, salt, and pepper; coat the steak pieces with the mixture.
  3. Brown the coated steak in oil.
  4. Add water and simmer for 1 hour or until the steak is tender.
  5. Add more water if needed during cooking.
  6. Stir in mushroom soup and chicken soup with rice, then cook until the mixture thickens.
  7. Serve the stew on toast or your favorite bread.
