Steak Soup(For Crock-Pot)

Ingredients
- 2 cups water ⓘ
- 4 small onions, chopped ⓘ
- 6 stalks celery, chopped ⓘ
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen mixed vegetables
- 2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained ⓘ
- 4 to 6 tablespoons beef granules or dried au jus mix ⓘ
- 1/2 cup butter, melted ⓘ
- 1/2 cup flour ⓘ
Instructions
- Put all ingredients except butter and flour in the Crock-Pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
- One hour before serving, turn the slow cooker to high.
- Make a thickening by combining melted butter and flour until smooth.
- Stir the thickener into the soup.
- Cook on high until the soup thickens.
