Ingredients

  • 3 squirrels
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • dash of hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Cover the squirrels with water and cook until tender.
  2. Remove from water and cool; reserve the broth.
  3. Remove meat from the bones and return it to the broth.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil and add all other ingredients except the rice.
  5. Cook for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  6. Add cooked rice and stir to combine.
  7. Serve hot.
