Ingredients

  • 1 lb. calf's liver
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 to 4 mushrooms
  • 4 scallions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Slice the calf's liver thin and mix with cornstarch and crushed garlic. Brown quickly in hot peanut oil.
  2. Add finely sliced onion and mushrooms. Stir-fry until the meat is evenly browned.
  3. Add chopped scallions and soy sauce. Continue cooking with constant stirring for 6 to 9 minutes.
