Ingredients

  • 1 lb. flank steak
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 medium red bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 5 slices (1/4-inch thick)

Instructions

  1. Cut the flank steak into 2-inch wide strips along the grain.
  2. Then cut each strip across the grain into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the steak with soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, and 2 teaspoons of cornstarch. Stir to coat and set aside.
