Tips & Substitutions

For a twist, consider substituting the Golden apple with a Fuji or Honeycrisp apple for a different flavor profile. If you prefer a less sweet dish, reduce the sugar to 1 tablespoon. Ensure the chicken is cut evenly to promote uniform cooking. If you have leftover sauce, it can be used in other chicken recipes, like Lite Chicken Teriyaki And Stir-Fry.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the stir-fry hot over a bed of rice or noodles for a complete meal. It pairs beautifully with a side of steamed broccoli or a fresh salad. For a more substantial dish, consider serving it alongside Spinach-Chicken Dumplings, enhancing the meal with a variety of textures and flavors.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm gently in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water or broth to prevent drying out. You can also microwave it for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even heating.
