Stroganoff For Shrimp
Ingredients
- 3 whole chicken breasts ⓘ
- 1 stalk celery tops ⓘ
- 3 tsp. salt ⓘ
- dash of pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 lb. ground beef (meat loaf mixture) ⓘ
- 6 Tbsp. flour ⓘ
- 1 egg ⓘ
- 2 tsp. grated onion ⓘ
- 1/4 c. milk ⓘ
- 1 pkg. carrots and peas ⓘ
- 1/4 lb. margarine ⓘ
- 1 small can chopped pimento ⓘ
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice ⓘ
- dash of cayenne ⓘ
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen shrimp ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook chicken breasts (halved) with 4 cups water, the tops from a full stalk of celery and 2 1/2 teaspoons salt for about 30 minutes or until tender.
- Remove the chicken.
- Cool, skin and cut into chunks.
- Reserve broth.
