Ingredients

  • bread
  • thin ham slices
  • medium cheese
  • green onion
  • cream cheese
  • celery
  • mayonnaise
  • dill pickles

Instructions

  1. Cut the French bread in half lengthwise.
  2. Hollow out the center of each bread half.
  3. Mix the cream cheese well and add mayonnaise, chopped celery, and chopped green onion to create the filling.
  4. Spread softened butter on the cut sides of the bread halves.
  5. Roll slices of dill pickles with the ham slices and place them on the bread halves.
  6. Spread the cheese mixture on the hollowed-out bread halves.
  7. Put the bread halves together to form a sandwich.
  8. Wrap the assembled sandwich in plastic wrap and chill overnight before serving.
