Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cups chicken flavored stuffing mix
  • 1 egg
  • 15 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add 1 cup of spaghetti sauce and water; bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the stuffing mix just to moisten, then remove from heat.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella.
  6. Layer the stuffing mixture, ricotta mixture, and remaining spaghetti sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
