Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 6 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Mix softened margarine, all-purpose flour, and 1 cup of powdered sugar and press into a 10 x 14-inch pan to form the crust.
  2. Bake the crust for 15 to 20 minutes at 325°F until lightly golden.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and combine with 1 cup sugar, lemon juice, 1 tablespoon flour, and baking powder.
  4. Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust.
  5. Bake at 325°F for 35 to 40 minutes until the filling is set.
  6. Allow to cool, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  7. Cut into squares and serve.
