Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit until foamy.
  2. Add the eggs to the yeast mixture and stir in the sugar, cooking oil, salt, and flour.
  3. Stir until the batter is well mixed and smooth.
  4. Let the dough set on the countertop overnight.
  5. The next morning, roll out the dough on a floured board to about 1/2-inch thickness.
  6. Cut the dough with a biscuit cutter into individual rolls.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased pan, cover with a clean cloth, and let rise for about 3/4 hour.
  8. Bake in a 400°F oven until golden brown.
