Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Carnation evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup cracker meal
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Accent (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup grated American cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare a baking dish lined with heavy duty aluminum foil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, evaporated milk, cracker meal, egg, chopped onion, mustard, salt, Accent (if using), and pepper.
  3. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well blended.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on the prepared foil-lined baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until fully cooked.
  6. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and top with grated American cheese.
