Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 pieces cube steak
  • salt
  • pepper
  • flour
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce with herbs
  • 1 medium bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the cube steaks.
  2. Dredge the steaks in flour.
  3. Country-fry the steaks until done.
  4. Drain excess grease from the skillet.
  5. Pour tomato sauce over the cooked steaks.
  6. Add the sliced onions and peppers to the sauce.
  7. Cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
