Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 10-inch pie shell
  • 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1/4 lb. sharp yellow cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups half and half cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs, half and half cream, salt, and pepper well together.
  2. Pour the egg mixture over the grated cheeses and crumbled bacon in the pie shell.
  3. Bake in a hot oven at 450°F for 15 minutes.
  4. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F and continue baking for 45 minutes until set and golden.
