Swiss Turkey Quiche

- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell ⓘ
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons flour ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon chicken-flavored instant bouillon ⓘ
- 2 cups cubed cooked turkey or chicken
- 1 cup milk ⓘ
- 3 eggs ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped pimiento ⓘ
- 1 can French fried onions ⓘ
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Bake the unbaked pastry shell for 8 minutes, then remove from oven.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
- In a medium bowl, toss shredded Swiss cheese with flour and chicken-flavored instant bouillon.
- Add cubed cooked turkey or chicken, milk, well beaten eggs, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, and chopped pimiento to the bowl.
- Mix well until combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pastry shell.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until set, topping with French fried onions during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
