Ingredients

  • 6 oz. macaroni twirls
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 to 1 1/2 oz. taco seasoning
  • 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 box cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 head lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 c. French dressing
  • 15 1/2 oz. taco flavored corn chips

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni as directed on the package; drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain off excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning to the cooked beef and mix well.
  4. Let the beef mixture cool slightly before combining with other ingredients.
  5. In a large bowl, mix cooked macaroni, seasoned beef, chopped green peppers, minced onions, grated Cheddar cheese, halved cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and French dressing.
  6. Top with taco-flavored corn chips before serving.
