Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of garlic
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 package fine egg noodles
  • 1 medium can creamed corn
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 can pitted ripe olives and juice
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown ground chuck in a skillet.
  2. Add chopped onion, sliced bell pepper, chili powder, minced garlic, salt, and pepper; cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in sliced olives with juice, canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, and creamed corn.
  4. Cook egg noodles as directed, then drain.
  5. If the skillet is large enough, add cooked noodles to the sauce and stir; otherwise, line baking dishes with noodles and pour sauce over.
  6. Sprinkle grated sharp cheese over the top.
  7. Bake at 375°F until bubbly, about 30 minutes.
