Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed Rice Krispies
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup margarine

Instructions

  1. Place crushed Rice Krispies in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In a second bowl, beat egg and lemon juice together.
  3. In a third bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip pork chops in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture.
  5. Coat the pork chops with crushed Rice Krispies.
  6. Melt margarine in a large frypan over low heat.
  7. Increase heat to medium and brown the pork chops on both sides.
  8. Reduce heat to simmer and cover.
  9. Cook about 20 minutes or until tender.
  10. Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
