Ingredients

  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Put cream cheese, flour, and butter into a bowl and blend as for pie crust until creamy and smooth.
  3. Divide the mixture into 24 equal-sized balls.
  4. Press each ball carefully into the bottoms and up the sides of the small muffin cups.
  5. Mix the beaten egg, melted butter, vanilla, and brown sugar until well combined.
  6. Spoon equal amounts of the filling into each prepared muffin cup.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 17 minutes.
  8. Reduce oven temperature to 250°F and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes until golden.
