Ingredients

  • 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 small eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. soft butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Blend the cream cheese, butter, flour, and salt thoroughly.
  2. Divide the mixture into 24 equal parts and form into balls.
  3. Place a ball into each of 24 miniature muffin pans.
  4. Press your thumb into each ball to make a shell.
  5. Beat with a fork the brown sugar, eggs, soft butter, and vanilla until blended.
  6. Place a few ground nuts in each shell and pour the filling over each.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
