A crunchy, sweet and cinnamon-flavored nut and cereal snack, perfect for parties or snacking, combining peanuts, various cereals, raisins, honey, and cinnamon for a delicious treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 c. peanuts
  • 2 c. Wheat Chex
  • 1 c. dark seedless raisins
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 c. Rice Chex
  • 2 c. Bran Chex
  • 1/3 c. margarine

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, toss together the peanuts, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, Bran Chex, and raisins.
  2. Melt margarine in a saucepan. Stir in honey and cinnamon until well blended.
  3. Pour the syrup over the nut-cereal mixture and toss to coat all pieces evenly.
  4. Spread the mixture on a large, ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  6. Turn off the oven and leave the mixture inside for another 10 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
