Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 (16 oz) cans pork and beans
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook beef and chopped onions in a small amount of fat until browned.
  2. Cook slowly until done, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add salt, pepper, Tabasco, vinegar, sugar, canned pork and beans, ketchup, and chopped bell pepper to the beef mixture.
  4. Mix well and transfer to a casserole dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
