Ingredients

  • 2 lb. coarse ground beef
  • green chili peppers, finely chopped
  • 6 scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • hot sauce
  • 1 qt. kidney beans, drained
  • raw chopped onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a heavy skillet, saute ground beef until browned.
  2. Add chopped green chili peppers and scallions; cook briefly.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, salt, pepper, hot sauce, and drained kidney beans.
  4. Add raw chopped onions if desired.
  5. Stir well and serve hot.
