Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 tsp. beef bouillon
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • tomato
  • onion slices
  • mayonnaise
  • ketchup
  • mustard
  • 1/4 oz. can chilies
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack cheese with jalapenos
  • dill pickle slices
  • 4 toasted hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, chilies, beef bouillon, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into 8 thin patties.
  3. Grill or broil the patties and onion slices for 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Toast hamburger buns.
  5. Assemble each burger by placing a patty on the bun, topping with cheese, onion, a second patty, tomato slices, and pickle slices.
  6. Serve with mustard, ketchup, or mayonnaise as desired.
