The Gift Cake

Instructions
- Combine cake mix, pudding mix, water, eggs, and oil in a large mixer bowl.
- Blend, then beat at medium speed with an electric mixer for 4 minutes.
- Stir in 1 1/3 cups coconut.
- Pour into a greased and floured pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes or until the cake begins to pull away from the sides of the pan.
- Do not underbake.
- Cool in the pan for 15 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the pan and finish cooling on a rack.
- Cut the cake in half to make two 6 x 8-inch layers.
- Spread strawberry jam and 1/2 cup of whipped topping between the layers.
- Frost with remaining whipped topping and sprinkle 2 cups of coconut on top.
- Decorate with a green or red bow.
