Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped miniature peanut butter cups

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Sift together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  5. Stir in the chopped miniature peanut butter cups.
  6. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Remove from sheets and cool on wire racks.
