Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. chicken wings
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2/3 c. sherry wine
  • 1 tsp. dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, mustard, wine, and rosemary in a saucepan for marinade.
  2. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Let the marinade cool.
  4. Pour the marinade over the chicken wings.
  5. Cover and marinate in a cool place for 3 to 8 hours.
  6. Remove from refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
  7. Bake the wings at 350°F (177°C) for 35 to 45 minutes, turning and basting occasionally.
  8. Drain wings on paper towels.
  9. Serve hot at parties or chill for road trips, fishing trips, or picnics; they are excellent either hot or cold.
