- Combine 3/4 cup melted butter, 2 cups flour, and 1/2 cup powdered sugar; mix well.
- Press the mixture into a well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 25 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the remaining ingredients: 2 cups sugar, 4 beaten eggs, 1/4 cup flour, baking powder, coconut, and crushed pineapple; mix well.
- Spread the filling over the hot crust.
- Bake an additional 40 to 45 minutes or until firm.
- Allow to cool slightly, then sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
