Ingredients

  • 1 lb. trout fillets
  • 2 Tbsp. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 4 oz. chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. Place trout fillets in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, chopped mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture over the fish fillets.
  4. Top with lemon slices.
  5. Cover with wax paper and microwave at High for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily.
  6. Let stand for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
