Ingredients

  • 9 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 1 teaspoon horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 2 (12 oz) cans tuna, drained
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onion

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
  2. Add the half and half to the beaten eggs and mix well.
  3. Stir in horseradish, lemon juice, salt, and basil.
  4. Add drained tuna, thawed peas, chopped water chestnuts, and sliced green onion to the mixture.
  5. Mix in Jack cheese and 1 cup of Cheddar cheese.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining Cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
