Ingredients

  • 10 slices Pepperidge Farm white bread
  • 4 cups bite size turkey
  • 16 oz can mushrooms
  • 8 oz can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 10 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
  • mayonnaise
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can celery soup
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 4 oz pimento
  • bread crumbs
  • butter

Instructions

  1. Remove bread crusts and butter bread on both sides.
  2. Place the bread slices in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each cheese slice and place, mayonnaise side down, on the bread.
  4. Beat eggs with milk until well combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and cheese.
  6. Mix the celery soup and mushroom soup together without diluting and pour over the egg mixture.
  7. Sprinkle pimento evenly over the top of the casserole.
