Ingredients

  • 1 lb. vanilla wafers
  • 1 lb. pecans
  • 1 lb. raisins
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 (14 oz.) condensed milk
  • 1 lb. walnuts
  • 1 lb. dates
  • 1 can (3 1/2 oz.) coconut
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Crush the vanilla wafers and cut the candied cherries into pieces.
  2. Leave the nuts whole.
  3. Mix all ingredients except the condensed milk and marshmallows.
  4. Melt the marshmallows in the condensed milk and mix with the other ingredients.
  5. When well mixed, pack the mixture into an angel food pan or three small loaf pans.
  6. Allow the cake to cool, then remove from the pan and wrap in wax paper at room temperature.
