Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cubed cooked ham
  • 1 box large frozen green lima beans, thawed
  • 1 (8 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 4 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/3 cup cornmeal
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix the cubed cooked ham, thawed green lima beans, cream-style corn, shredded Cheddar cheese, minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
  2. Turn the mixture into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  3. Cover the casserole and bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the batter by mixing biscuit mix, cornmeal, and egg.
  5. Remove the casserole from the oven and spread the batter evenly over the hot mixture to seal the dish.
  6. Return the casserole to the oven and bake uncovered for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
