Ingredients

  • 1 can French-style green beans
  • 1 can English peas
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 small jar chopped pimentos
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix the drained French-style green beans, English peas, whole kernel corn, chopped pimentos, chopped bell pepper, chopped celery, and chopped onion in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, salad oil, water, and salt. Stir until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least one night to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled. Will keep in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
